The Eye-Fi card is the 1st wireless memory card.

It looks like a regular memory card, stores media like a regular memory card, and fits into cameras just like a regular SD/SDHC memory card. However, unlike any regular memory card the Eye-Fi card has built-in Wi-Fi that uses your wireless network to effortlessly transfer photos and videos. As a result, your photos and videos fly into your computer automatically and effortlessly with the 4GB Eye-Fi Home Video card, hassle free and all without the need for cables. Upon setup you can specify which networks the Eye-Fi card uses to transfer your media. The next time your camera is on within range of a specified network, your photos and videos will be transferred.

Please note that the Eye-Fi Home Video card is not able to transmit RAW files. For that you will need the Eye-Fi Pro Card

• A broadband internet connection
• A Wi-Fi router compatible with 802.11b/g
• A computer with Windows XP/Vista or Mac OSX 10.4, 10.5, or 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
• An internet browser, specifically Internet Explorer 7 (Windows only), Firefox 2 and 3 (Windows and OS X) and Safari 3 (OS X 10.4 – 10.6)
