The Value of Plug-ins

Somebody asked me at the club the other night, “How come you have such a broad knowledge of Photoshop” and I said “Why do you say that”..."Well your works pretty good in just about all areas with what I’ve seen of your work...Did you do a Photoshop course or something” My one word answer of “Plug-ins” drew a blank stare for several seconds.
